As an Arizona licensed General Contractor (ROC 149287, est'd 1997) with both residential and commercial building privileges, we are seasoned managers, technically experienced and stand ready to tackle any project - big or small, especially as may relate to green or LEED construction, energy management and utility savings systems -  including all technologies both solar photo-voltaic electric and thermal, lighting systems and power conditioning, specialty products for efficient shells and building envelopes, solar HVAC systems, specialty steel fabrication for solar "shade" parking structures and all manner of radiant barriers and coatings. We have enhanced our credentials recently with additional training from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners, NABCEP

 Photo: One of our projects, a 4000 SF Mediterranean style "Santa Barbara" home, a custom one-off design and built adjacent to The Arizona Biltmore Resort on one of the area's last hill side lots. Due to its compexity, the pergola gun tower was constructed entirely at ground level and then lifted by crane and fitted precisely onto the sub-structure. Compound curves and arches throughout add to the moorish theme as well as complexity of the construction needed to be addressed.

A few completed projects:
 
 
 We recently [Oct. 2011] completed $2MM of improvements to The Nautical Beach Front Resort located at Lake Havasu City Arizona. Go to the Recent Project page at left index to read about it. Above is a view of the beach and cove which lies center stage at the resort. Naturally the lake is a haven for sea planes like this pristeen Beech D-18 on straight floats, one of only 3 to exist world wide.
 
 
Project Managed by CB under subcontract to the builder of record for the owner, this stunning 6800 SF classic Santa Barbara "in-fill" lot home sits in the center of Tempe's famous equestrian district off Warner Rd. The owner has one of the largest swimming pool companies in the country and takes no back seat on quality demanded. The project was capped by one of the most elaborate pool and backyard landscapes with which I have ever been associated during a build process. 
 
 
Another "Owner-Build" with CB/Mike Goering serving as sub contracts' manager on behalf of the owner, providing all project management, contracts processing and field supervision.
This 7000 FT Paradise Valley rambling ranch Spanish Territorial was completed in only 7 months start to finish. Many design challenges including compound curved hall ways/ceilings and "Endless Radii" ceilings required the best available in framing talent, achieved thanks to the mastery of both the Framer and Plasterer screened and selected exclusively by Comanche Builders for the job.
 
 
Our 1st foray (1999) into building super insulated yet structurally superior "shells" as part of a holistic approach to achieving energy efficiencies in residential construction. This 3800 SF custom home in Chandler AZ was the 1st of its kind at that time & in that district to be made of "OMNI-BLOCK" , a superior system consisting of proprietary molded masonry units filled with styrofoam modules to achieve a continuous thermal break and R-50 rating - not available via any other competing unit. We also incorporated several leading edge technologies available at the time including grey water recycling, automatic sensor roof power venting, elec. load shedding and priority controls, smart HVAC controls, and complete vapor sealing.
 
 
A 27 unit  Phoenix AZ hillside condominium project "The Preserve at Cave Creek".
Wisconsin based assisted living communities developer (and a current Joint-Venture partner with Comanche Builders) Jay Schnorenberg - JPS, Ltd. -  hired Comanche Builders LLC/ Mike Goering as his "Owner's Rep" to take over this failing project, which was floundering and in a state of total disarray due to 4 prior years' of largely wasted efforts by inattentive contractors and his local administration's lack of experience with hillside development. 
 
Result: The project was cleaned up, civil improvements and streets completed, and all 27 townhome duplexed units ready for sales and closings in only 8 months duration following CB involvement and with corrective administrative measures.
 
A complete interior/exterior remodel and renovation/ installation of final interior finishes to 12,000 SF "Classic" manse on a 5 AC gated compound in south Tempe AZ. Sold immediately upon completion by the private owner-investor who hired Comanche Builders following dissappointment with prior efforts. Comanche was then hired to construct the owner's personal 10,000 SF custom residence with separate guest home on his 2 AC site at the foot of Camelback mountain in north Phoenix' prestigious Arcadia village.
 
 
 
 
A Spanish/Southwest Territorial spec home designed and built by Comanche Builders on 1 AC gated lot in north Scottsdale's premier "Ironwood Retreat" community. Sold at full listing price 45 days before completion!
